Bring Our Girls Back

#Bring Our Girls Back
We are amazed here at AmerinRio that 200 girls can get kidnapped in Nigeria and 24 days later nothing gets done. If this happened here in the USA, England or France we would like to think that something would be done immediately.
We ask the question: What….Nigerian girls aren’t as important as celebrities, politicians or girls from say the USA or England?
This tells the story of how some societies place women or girls as secondary citizens. Women and girls are an integral part of all societies and should be treated with the same importance as men.
We need to do something and we need to do it now. The Nigerien government needs to engage their forces and put a stop to such atrocities against the rights of these girls and their citizens. A lack of action says that they condone such actions and even more of these incidents will happen unless it is stopped. The people responsible for this should be brought to justice to send a signal that this kind of terrorism will not be tolerated anywhere in the world.
If something isn’t done soon other groups may do the same thing in other parts of the world leaving our girls everywhere vulnerable to kidnappings and attacks. We already have an epidemic of girls and boys being kidnapped by human traffickers. Yet governments continue to ignore what is happening around the world.
As citizens of human society we should stand up to our governments and say enough is enough and action needs to be taken now. Our children are at risk not just here in the USA but worldwide. Don’t think it can’t happen it can and will if we do not take a stand against such atrocities.
